Description:   

 

This  technical  bulletin  is  the  detailed  information  about  the  trouble  code  of 

the  QQ  AMT  transmission.  It  includes  the  meaning  of  each  trouble  code,  the 

possible  reason  of  each  code  and  the  result  if the  trouble occurs.  Knowing  this 

knowledge can help you to do diagnosis in some case.

Trouble code list of QQ AMT Transmission 

 

1. Clutch Travel Sensor       

P1741      short-circuit or short-circuit to power supply      signal above 4.75V          ON 

                                                                    Open-circuit or short-circuit to grounding wire          signal less than 0.39V 

                                           

Failure  of  parts  or  mechanic  part      failure  of  clutch  speed,  or  the  re-measurement  of 

clutch speed not equals to estimated speed.   

Engine off, engine flameout, start failure and gearshift failure 

Engine started, but incapable of upshifting to gear 2. 

System auto settings can’t be started. 

 

2. Gear Selector Travel Sensor     

P1742      signal above limit value      short-circuit or short-circuit to power supply 

signal above 4.64V          ON 

Signal less than limit value        open-circuit      or short-circuit  to grounding wire signal 

less than 0.29V 

Without effective signal      failure of parts or mechanical part      signal out of limit value 

System incapable of upshifting to gear 2 

System auto settings can’t be started. 

 

3.  Frication  Plate  Sensor     

P1743      signal  above  limit  value      short-circuit      or  short-circuit  to  power  supply 

signal above 4.64V          ON 

Signal less than limit value        open-circuit      or short-circuit to grounding wire signal less 

than 0.19v 

Without  effective  signal      circuit  malfunction  or  out  of  dynamic  scope  electric  signal 

reception  scope,  but  not  verified  between 

the  position  indicator  sensor  and  friction 

plate speed signal. 

System gearshift failure 

In  event  of  above  malfunction,  the  vehicle  speed  should  not  exceed  4KM/H  and  the  engine  speed  should  not  exceed 

1,800RPM. Gear 1, gear 2 and reverse gear can be engaged, accelerator position is limited to below 45%, and the engine stop 

and idling request are allowed.   

 

4.  System  Pressure  Sensor     

P1744      signal above limit value      short-circuit      or short-circuit  to power supply 

signal above 4.88V          ON 

                                                 

Signal  less  than  limit  value        open-circuit      or  short-circuit  to  grounding  wire 

signal less than 0.24V 

                                                 

Without  effective  signal          circuit  malfunction        sensor  grounding  wire  not 

connected 

The pressure pump is activated at fixed time 

System auto settings can’t be started.

5.  Gearshift  Lever  Malfunction  0     

P1745      signal above limit value      short-circuit      or short-circuit to power 

supply    signal above 4.5V          ON

 

Signal less than limit value        open-circuit      or short-circuit  to grounding wire signal 

less than 0.5V 

Without effective signal      out of dynamic scope        circuit malfunction 

System automatically enters into automatic mode 

The brake pedal must be depressed at engine start 

The system will automatically engage gear 1 while the brake pedal keeps depressed.   

It’s not allowed to shift to reverse gear 

 

6.  Gearshift  Lever  Malfunction  1     

P1746      signal above limit value      short-circuit      or short-circuit to power 

supply    signal above 4.5V          ON

 

                                               

Signal  less  than  limit  value        open-circuit      or  short-circuit  to  grounding  wire 

signal less than 0.5V 

  Without effective signal      out of dynamic scope        circuit malfunction 

System automatically enters into automatic mode 

The brake pedal must be depressed at engine start 

The system will automatically engage gear 1 while the brake pedal keeps depressed.   

It’s not allowed to shift to reverse gear 

7.  Gearshift  Lever  Malfunction  2     

P1748      signal above limit value      short-circuit      or short-circuit to power 

supply signal above 4.5V          ON

 

                                               

Signal  less  than  limit  value        open-circuit      or  short-circuit  to  grounding  wire 

signal less than 0.5V 

  Without effective signal      out of dynamic scope        circuit malfunction 

System automatically enters into automatic mode
