34. Apply a light coat of super high temp urea grease (P/N 08798-9002) to the cable ends, and install new 

cotter pins (C).  

35. Apply super high temp urea grease (P/N 08798-9002) to the end of the cylinder rod. Install the slave 

cylinder. Take care not to bend the clutch line.

36. Install the battery base (see step 43 of ENGINE INSTALLATION ).  

37. Install the air cleaner housing (see AIR CLEANER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).  

38. Install the battery. Connect the positive (+) cable first, then the negative (-) cable to the battery.  

39. Refill the transmission fluid (see TRANSMISSION FLUID INSPECTION AND REPLACEMENT ). 

40. Test-drive the vehicle.  

41. Check the clutch operation.  

42. Check the front wheel alignment (see WHEEL ALIGNMENT PROCEDURES ).  

43. Enter the anti-theft codes for the radio and navigation system, then enter the customer's radio station 

presets.
