LOW FUEL INDICATOR TEST 

1. Do the gauge drive circuit check (see SELF-DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE ).

If the low fuel indicator flashes, go to step 2.  

z

If the low fuel indicator does not flash, replace the gauge control module assembly.  

2. Perform the multiplex integrated control system troubleshooting test mode A (see

z

If any DTCs are indicated, do the indicated DTC troubleshooting.  

z

If no DTCs are indicated, go to step 3.  

3. Perform fuel gauge sending unit test (see FUEL GAUGE SENDING UNIT TEST ).
