4. Remove the TPMS control unit (B). 5. Install the TPMS control in the reverse order of removal. 6. Connect the HDS, and memorize the pressure sensor IDs (see MEMORIZING THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID ). Do not memorize the IDs automatically. INITIATOR REPLACEMENT FRONT 1. Make sure the ignition switch is OFF. 2. Raise the front of the vehicle, and support it with safety stands in the proper locations (see LIFT AND SUPPORT POINTS ). 3. Remove the front wheel. 4. Remove the front inner fender (see FRONT INNER FENDER REPLACEMENT ). 5. Disconnect the initiator connector (A). Fig. 37: Identifying Initiator With Torque Specifications - Front 6. Remove the initiator (B) from the bracket. 7. Install the initiator in the reverse order of removal. REAR 1. Make sure the ignition switch is OFF. 2. Raise the rear of the vehicle, and support it with safety stands in the proper locations (see LIFT AND SUPPORT POINTS ). 3. Remove the rear wheel. 4. Remove the rear fender cover (see REAR INNER FENDER REPLACEMENT ). NOTE: Make sure the initiator mounting bracket is not bent or twisted as this may
