D. Remove outside door handle.

Removal

Power door lock cylinder

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.

2. Remove door trim. Refer to "Trim" in this section.

3. Remove one screw on pull handle bracket.

4. Remove pull handle bracket.

5. Remove speaker.

A. Remove three screws on door speaker.

B. Unfasten harness connector from door frame.

C. Pull out speaker and disconnect connectors

Peel plastic door screen off carefully so that it can be reused.

6. Peel off plastic door screen carefully by pulling it away gradually from door frame.

7. Disconnect outside door handle rod of door lock assembly from outside door handle.

8. Disconnect lock cylinder rod of door lock assembly from door lock cylinder of door handle.

9. Remove two mounting bolts on outside door handle.

10. Remove outside door handle.

11. Remove lock cylinder from outside door handle.

Installation

Power door lock assembly

1. Install door lock assembly.

A. Position it as originally positioned through access hole.
B. Install three mounting screws.

Tightening torque : 35~52 lb-in (4~6 N-m, 40~60 kg-cm)

2. Install outside door handle.

A. Connect two control rods of door lock assembly.
B. Install two mounting nuts.

3. Install plastic door screen.

A. Fasten plastic door screen.
B. Pull out electrical harness connector from plastic door screen.

C. Pull out control rod for inside door handle from plastic door screen.

4. Install inside door handle.

A. Connect two control rods or door lock assembly.
B. Install three mounting screws.

Tightening torque : 26~34 lb-in (2~4 N-m, 30~40 kg-cm)

5. Install door speaker with three mounting screws.

6. Install pull handle bracket with one mounting screw.

7. Install door trim.

8. Install inside door handle cover with one mounting screw.

9. Fasten door trim. Refer to "Trim" in this section.

10. Install inner weatherstrip.

11. Connect negative battery cable.

Installation

Power door lock cylinder

1. Install lock cylinder in outside door handle.

2. Install lock cylinder retainer on outside door handle.

3. Position outside door handle as originally positioned.

4. Install two mounting nuts.

Tightening torque : 61~86 lb-in (7~10 N-m, 70~100 kg-cm)

5. Connect lock cylinder rod of door lock assembly to door lock cylinder of door handle.

6. Connect outside door handle rod of door lock assembly to outside door handle.

7. Install plastic door screen.

A. Fasten plastic door screen.
B. Route electrical harness connector from plastic door screen.

C. Pull out remote control rod for inside door plastic door screen.

8. Install speaker with three mounting screws.

9. Install door pull handle bracket with one mounting screw.

10. Install door trim. Refer to "Trim" in this section.

11. Connect negative battery cable.
