Troubleshooting
ETWIS does not operate.
Check for rear "ROOM (10A)" and "METER (10A)" fuse. If open, check for short to ground though the R or Y
wire and replace fuse. In addition, check that all system electrical connectors mated correctly.

Check for voltage at terminal B(R) of
ETWIS connector I-01.
Is battery voltage present.

Go to next step
No
Repair open or short in the wire "R" or
replace.

Turn the ignition switch to ON
position.Check for voltage at terminal M(Y)
of ETWIS connector I-01.
Is battery voltage present?
Yes
Go to next step
No
Repair open or short in the wire "B" or
replace.

Check for continuity at terminal S(B) of
ETWIS connector I-01 to ground.
Is continuity present?
Yes
Inspect ETWIS.
No
Check for a poor connection at ground. If
OK, repair open in the wire "B" or replace.
Circuit testing (Electronic time and warning indication system module)
Check for voltage or continuity with connector connected. Repair or replace as necessary.
