Managing text messages with
MTC System
The commands can be imparted from
any screenshot after pushing the MTC
Phone button
on the steering
wheel.
Send a message to 248 555 1212
• Insert message from the preset list of
the MTC or impart “List” to listen all
18 preset messages.
• Say “Yes” to send the selected
message.
• The message is sent to the number
linked to the receiver (see Note 4, 5).
Send a message to John Smith Mobile
• Insert the message from the MTC
system preset list or impart “List” to
listen all 18 preset messages.
• Say “Yes” to send selected message.
• The message is sent to the number
linked to the receiver (see Note 1, 2,
5, 8, 9).
Show Messages
Displays box of incoming messages
downloaded from your phone (see
Note 4, 6).
• Say “Listen to number 4”.
• The MTC system reads the message
by using the car's audio system.
• After reading the message the
following commands are
automatically available:
• Read (reads the message by using
the car's audio system). After
reading the message it is possible
to read, reply or forward the
message.
• Send a Reply (insert the message
from the MTC System or impart
”List” to listen all 18 preset
messages).
• Forward (insert receiver name and
phone type imparting
subsequently “Yes” to send the
selected message. The message is
sent to the number linked to the
receiver name.
• Call (dials the number linked to
the message).

• Say “View number 4”.
• The MTC System displays the
message on the screen.
• While displaying the message,
following commands will be
available after pressing the
soft-key:
• Read (reads the message using the
car’s audio system. After reading
the message it is possible to read
again, reply or forward the
message).
• Send a Reply (insert the message
from the MTC System or impart
”List” to listen all 18 preset
messages).
• Forward (insert receiver name and
phone type imparting “Yes” to
send the selected message. The
message is sent to the number
linked to the receiver name).
