HEATING AND VENTILATION

Ventilation Precautions

Run the engine and press AUTO switch 

to activate air vent system.

Recalling previous setting

The latest direct performance status of 

ventilation including fan speed, A/C or 

Eco activation status, air distribution 

direction, temperature, and intake air 

distribution direction are always saved 

in control system memory. In order for 

repeated recalling, it is necessary to 

press 

 button to recall all the 

saved status. Now, activate the system 

again with desired fan speed.

Note:

1. During winter, when the outdoor and 

engine temperature is extremely low, the 

air vent fan will not function for 3 minutes 

until the engine temperature reaches 

appropriate temperature and get warm.

2. AUTO air vent system is equipped with 

air filter in order to prevent polluted air, 

fog and smoke entrance. Keep in mind 

that you should take action to replace 

the air filter as per warranty manual.

3. In case the fan speed is weak, 

entering air smells bad or instances of 

inappropriate defogging is seen, it’s the 

time to replace the air filter.

4. In order to prevent heater fouling, 

make use of antifreeze liquid in the

1. The air vent system can be 

activated only when the engine is 

running.

2. Never leave alone adults, disabled 

persons and children in the vehicle.

3. Cabin temperature will be so high 

during hot summer days which may 

cause severe and fatal damages to 

the vehicle passengers.

4. Never use internal air circulation 

mode for a long time, because it will 

cause vaporization on windows and 

lack of oxygen within the cabin.

5. The comfort temperature is 

adjustable based on passenger’s 

desire (it is about 22 degrees in

summer and 26 degrees in winter).

6. When the vehicle is exposed to 

direct sunlight for a long time and the 

inside cabin temperature is so hot, 

try natural air ventilation by lowering 

down the windows for some minutes, 

and then, close the windows and 

power on A/C system.

7. In order for safety considerations of 

vehicle air vent system, power on A/C 

system once or twice a month for 5 to 

10 minutes, even in hot months of the 

year (summer).

5. In order to turn off the air vent system, 

press OFF button and power the engine 

off.

6. Charging cooler gas with a gas other 

than R134 will seriously damage your 

vehicle’s air vent system.

7. Prevent blocking air inlets below front 

windshield.

8. Prevent putting objects on light 

sensors designed in middle part of 

dashboard, below front windshield 

and also outdoor temperature sensor, 

designed on front bumper.

9. We recommend you to use AUTO air 

vent mode. Making use of this system, 

you will be able to control the following 

function automatically in an optimized 

manner, air direction, temperature, and 

air distribution within the vehicle cabin. 

These functions will be done making use 

of several sensors. Therefore, there is 

no need to change the displayed setting.

CAUTION

Never try to dismantle the cooler 

coolant  fluid  circuit.  This  fluid  is 

extremely dangerous for eyes and 

skin. In case of facing any fault, please 

refer to authorized branch office.

Air vent System Manual Adjustment

Adjusting one or more functions 

automatically is possible in this system. 

Applying manual adjustment may 

result in adverse conditions including 

inappropriate temp., humidity, bad 

smell, and water distillation. Therefore, 

this is recommended to use AUTO air 

vent mode.

Press AUTO button to return to auto 

mode.

Air fan 

Press button 

 to increase the airflow 

and Press button 

 to decrease the 

airflow.

AUTO light will go out.

The  airflow  (fan)  indicator  lamp  will  be 

lighted and reach to the determined 

number. In order to prevent water 

distillation and air quality decrease in 

the cabin, always ensure enough airflow 

within the cabin.

Turn off air vent system

Press the OFF button to turn off the 

airflow and air vent. The indicator lights 

and the display will be powered off in 

this mode.

By doing so, all functions of air vent 

system, except defogging function of 

rear windshield, will be deactivated.

The welfare equipment of temp will 

not be active in this mode and items 

including temp, humidity and distillation 

will be out of control.

It is recommended to avoid driving for 

long time in the mode of air vent system 

OFF.

Press AUTO button again to make the 

air vent activated again.

Air distribution adjustment 

You  are  able  to  control  the  airflow 

direction by pressing this button, 

repeatedly or continuously. AUTO switch 

will go out. The airflow direction will be 

indicated by corresponding arrow light 

on the display.

Auto defogging 

In some cases (high humidity, high 

number of passengers, and extremely 

cold weather), the welfare function of 

air vent system will not be alone able 

to complete defogging and defrosting 

functions. In this case, select the front 

visibility function 

 to make the 

windows visible and clean.

In this mode, the indicator lamp will 

emerge on display. This action will 

control  air  vent  and  airflow  direction 

and makes it possible to create air 

vent around front windshield and side 

windows.

Defogging and defrosting indicator 

lamps of the front windshield 

 will 

emerge on the display.

When this issue (fogging and frosting 

of windows) is eliminated, you are able 

to activate AUTO air vent system by 

pressing AUTO button.

-Air conditioning works only when the 

engine is running.

- Don’t leave children, disable adults 

and animals alone in vehicle.

- There is increase in temperature 

inside the vehicle in hot days; so the 

hot weather can harm the passengers 

or even cause to death.

- A long circulation of air shouldn’t be 

used, because it causes suffocation 

(i.e. lack of oxygen) and misting of 

windows.

- Don’t interrupt the driver’s 

concentration while he’s driving by 

changing the heating and ventilation 

knobs position.

Automatic ventilation system model*

Start engine and activate the keys to 

switch on the air condition.

1-Automatic function (Auto) Heating 

and cooling together with dehumidifier 

(aut omatic)

This could be used through year and 

the cab temperature is controlled and 

maitained at desired level.

-Air circulation and fan speed are 

controlled automatically.

1-Press the automatic key (AUTO).

2-Adjust to desired temperature (red 

direction to increase temperature and 

blue direction to decrease temperature.)

-Adjust temperature at 25 º’bcC as 

normal temperature.

-Temperature of the cab will be 

maintained  fix  automatically.  The  air 

outlets are also controlled automatically.

2-Heater (ECON)

Select the ECON position in winter and 

when the air conditioner is off (minimum 

fuel consumption).

1-Push ECON key (optimum 

consumption). Adjust desired 

temperature by the adjusting key. ECON 

indicator in the displaying screen comes 

on.

2-Cab temperature will be maintained 

fixed  automatically.  Air  outlets  and  fan 

speed will be controlled automatically.

- Do not select temperature less than 

outside temperature, otherwise the 

system may not work properly.

- It is not recommended if the windows 

become misty

 3-Demisting and defrosting of the 

front window

1-Push the windshield demisting outlets 

selection key 

 (DEF) the indication 

light comes on the LCD

2-Adjust the adjusting switch to the 

desired temperature (select high 

temperature to improve demisting)

3-Push AUTO key to return the system 

to the automatic condition as soon as 

the windshield is demisted.

 Demisting and defrosting of the 

rear window

 Push key (the indicator comes on). 

The electric elements of the rear window 

are activated for a

4-Manual function of the fan speed 

control

Push the fan control key   to be able 

to control fan manually (manual) Push 

AUTO key to have fan speed controlled 

automatically. Push Auto key to have 

system changed to automatic condition.

 5-Air circulation control 

key

Push the cab’s air control key, so the 

air circulation is adjustable for fresh air 

 or cab circulation 

 .

Push AUTO key to shift the system to 

automatic position.

When the temperature of the inside air 

temperature is high, select the inside air 

recirculation in AUTO position to quickly 

cool down the interior.

6-Air outlet control

Push manual control MODE 

key (manual) (MANUAL is displayed), 

so the outlets direct the air in following 

5 states:

Air comes out from front outlets 

(face):

Air comes out from front (face) 

outlets and is blown towards feet.

Air comes out mainly from feet 

outlets.
Air comes out from feet and 

windshield outlet.

Air comes out from windshield 

outlet.

7-Outside temperature key

Push the OUT TEMP key, 

and then you can see the outside 

temperature on the displaying screen 

after about 5 seconds.

8-Air condition service

Your air condition system has 

been charged by refrigerant 

which is environment friendly.

“This refrigerant has no adverse effect 

on the Ozone layer”, although it may 

have a little effect on warming the 

earth. Special tools for charging and 

lubricating are needed when servicing 

and charging air condition. Improper 

refrigerant or oil may damage your 

vehicle’s air condition. Only authorized 

dealer should service your vehicle’s air 

condition (environment friendly).

9-Rear screen heater

 Rear screen heater is used for 

demisting or defrosting rear window and

side mirrors.

10-OFF

 Automatic air condition goes off by 

this key.

11-Adjusting temperature

Push temperature adjusting key to be 

able to control temperature (manual). 

Temperature will be controlled 

automatically if you push AUTO key.

Automatic air condition sensors

This system is equipped with sensors

which control the function of the air

condition automatically.

1-Light intensity sensor

- Location: under windshield on the

instrument panel

Note: avoid placing objects on this 

sensor

2-Sensor of the cab interior temperature

-Location: under steering wheel cap.

Avoid blocking the air flow to sensor.

3-Defrosting sensor

Location: Inside the ventilation system

of HVAC.

4-Exterior temperature sensor

Location: on the front bumper

5-Sensor of the engine coolant

temperature

Notice:

If the outside and engine’s 

temperature are low during winter, air 

condition fan will not function for about 

3 minutes until engine temperature 

gets warm enough.

Air condition system is equipped with 

filter which prevents entrance of the 

dust, smoke and polluted air. Make 

sure that replace filter with new one 

as per suggested interval mentioned 

in the service manual.

Should the fan speed decreases and/

or it smells or demisting is imperfect, 

replace the filter.

Push OFF key to switch off the air 

condition and then you could switch 

off the engine.

Avoid blocking under the windshield 

outlets.

Avoid placing objects on the light 

intensity sensor in the center of the 

instrument panel, under windshield 

sensor and outside temperature 

sensor on the front bumper.

Rear ashtray

1-Open the cap by special place mounted 

on it.

2-To empty the container, push down the 

latch cap and pull the container out.

Front ashtray (ELX model)*

Ashtray is located under front console.

1-Pull down ashtray cap to open it.

2-Take it out completely by pushing its 

latch to empty it.

Keep the latch down to place ashtray 

back and push it up to end.

3-Cigarette lighter

Adjusting Steering Wheel

Adjust the angle of the steering wheel 

to your body position before driving. 

Therefore, you should at first adjust your 

seat, and ensure that all the indicator 

lights and dials on the fascia panel are 

clearly visible. Then adjust the steering 

wheel on best position.

1. Push down the control lever and 

unlock the steering wheel.

2. Adjust the height of the wheel, and 

pull up the control level completely to 

lock in the desired position.

* If equipped

Warning

Nevr the adjust the steering wheel at 

the time of driving.

Warning

Ashtrays  are  a  fire  hazard.  DO 

NOT use for waste paper or other 

combustibles.

INTERIOR EQUIPMENT

Cubby Box

- The cubby box is located beneath the 

central armrest.

- Lift the lid to open it.

- An electric connection is fitted in cubby 

box.

- A plantar has been inserted in the box 

that can be taken out in case of being 

dirty and put it in its own place again.

Sun Visor

Fold down the visor by the hinge to 

shield your eyes from direct sunlight.

- The visor can be used for both the 

windshield and side windows.

Trunk Lid Release Handle

This hatch is located behind the rear 

armrest, and is used to carry long 

objectssuch

as skis so that a part is situated in 

the trunk and the prolongation goes 

through the hatch to the backseats- or to 

access the trunk lid through passenger 

compartment.

- Lower the center armrest and release 

the catch at the top of the hatch and 

lower to lay completely on top of the 

armrest.

INTERIOR EQUIPMENT

Rear Armrest

Fold down the armrest from the backseat 

cushion. The armrest provides more 

relaxation and comfort when carrying 

one or two rear passengers. Also in case 

you want to access the trunk hatch, fold 

down the armrest.

Two cup holding recesses have been 

arranged under the armrest.

Warning

Long objects should be carried 

carefully.

- Pull glove box lever to open glove box 

lid.

- Glove box light comes on when its lid is 

opened and goes off when lid is closed.

- One depression for placing cup, two 

parenthetic clamps for placing pen and 

a place for putting card are provided on 

the glove box.

NOTICE:

The Owner’s manual should always be 

kept in the glove box for instant usage.

Warning

Pay close attention when the car is 

running and hot drinks are placed 

inside the holder.

CD holder

- Push center of CD holder to open its 

lid, and then pull the place on the left 

corner.

- Put CD between ledges or take CD.

- Close the lid and push the center of the 

CD holder.

1- Trunk lid unlocking key

To unlock the trunk lid from inside the vehicle, 

push related button for at least 1.5 seconds in 

a dilatory way, then trunk lid will be unlocked.

2- Digital Clock (ELX Model)

For interring to the date adjusting

position, press the key A and B

simultaneously for 2 seconds; Then use

the key A for adjusting day and key B

for adjusting month. Simultaneously

pressing of A and B keys for 12 seconds

will change the date from solar to Christ

calendar and vise versa.(Below figure)

3- Central lock button

The vehicle’s doors are locked and unlocked 

by each time pushing this button.

INTERIOR EQUIPMENT

If your vehicle is equipped 

The indicator on the button comes on when 

the  doors  are  locked. This  indicator  flashes 

when the doors are locked by remote 

controller which indicates the antitheft system 

is active.

Automatic central lock of the doors :

At the time driving ( in speeds more than 

10km/h) the doors are locked automatically 

.To open the doors in the speeds more than 

10  km/h;  it;s  sufficient  to  press  the  key  no. 

3 slightly. You can activate or deactivate this 

function .

Activation

A prolonged pressing on key no. 3 for 5 

seconds is required for activation when the 

ignition switch is on .The activation takes 

place by three times flashing of the light on 

the keys along with audio warning.

4- Flasher

Push  flasher  button,  all  flashing  indicators 

and turn signal lights on the instrument 

panel  start  flashing.  Use  these  lights  only 

in emergency situations such as when your 

vehicle has blocked the other vehicles and/or 

when there is a dangerous situation. Flasher 

will be on even when the engine is OFF, so 

switch  the  flasher  off  when  the  emergency 

situation has been ended.

Warning

In case the feeding current is 

disconnected (battery disconnection, 

electrical feeding wire cutoff….), the 

clock’s numbers will be erased. The 

clock has to be readjusted.

CAUTION

For safety reasons, adjust the clock

when the vehicle is stationary.

CAUTION

Avoid scraping and scratching the heating 

elements to prevent any damage, and do 

not stick any labels over them.

If there is an extreme decrease of speed; 

alarming  system  will  on  the  flasher 

automatically for 10 seconds. Rear 

screen heater & window regulators don’t 

get activated simultaneously.

In  case  the  system  did  not  find  your  cell 
phone, the “NO DEVICE FOUND’ message 
will emerge on display.

But if the system found your cell phone, 

a list of found cell phones will emerge 

on display and you can select your cell 

phone by turning the knob (knob No. 

13). After selecting your cell phone, 

briefly  press  the  knob  No.  13  to  select 

the cell phone.

HANDSFREE MOBILE *

* If installed on your vehicle

Bluetooth function

Note: Avoid using cell phone during driving as 

much as possible for safety considerations.
Bluetooth is a wireless communication device 
for short distances. Bluetooth device of this 
system is able to be connected to cell phones 
equipped with Bluetooth mechanism.
After a successful connection, you will be 
able to control your cell phone by this device.

BT connection setting

By entering BT connection menu, you can 
access the following setting by turning Folder 
Push  knob  (knob  No.  13).  Briefly  press  the 
knob No. 13 to enter to desired setting item.

Briefly press button 

 (button No. 16) to 

exit BT connection menu.

System connection to cell phone

Before connecting, turn on Bluetooth of cell 
phone. Enter New Device menu, and then 
search for your cell phone. Bluetooth indicator 
will flash on top of display in this mode.

After selecting the name of your cell phone, 

the following list will emerge on display. Select 

YES by pressing knob No. 13 to establish the 

connection.

During connection, if the device is connected 

to another cell phone, the following message 

will emerge on display.

Select YES by pressing knob No. 13, if you 

are willing to disconnect previous cell phone 

and make connection with new cell phone.

A connection code is required is this step to 

make new connection. Insert 0000 code on 

your cell phone. The Bluetooth connection 

will be connected automatically in this mode.

HANDSFREE MOBILE*

* If installed on your vehicle

After making connection between device and
cell phone, the following message will
emerge on display.

In case of connection failure, the 

“PAIRING FAIL” message will emerge 

on the display.

Performing above steps is necessary 

only for the first time you want to make 

connection between your cell phone 

and the device. In case this connection 

is established previously, simply 

enter Paired Device menu and make 

connection between your cell phone 

again.

Discoverable Mode:

In case of selecting this item, the device 

will start searching for new cell phones 

with turned on Bluetooth in 3 minutes.

In  case  of  finding  new  cell  phone,  the 

system will send a connection message 

to the new cell phone.

In case of willing to connect to new cell 

phone, you can select YES item by 

pressing knob No. 13. In the mode, the 

device’s connection with current system 

will be disconnected and the following 

message will emerge on display.

Select YES item to disconnect the 

connection with the current system.

Select YES by pressing knob No. 13, if 

you are willing to disconnect previous 

cell phone and make connection with 

new cell phone.

In this mode, the device will start 

establishing connection with new cell 

phone and the following message will 

emerge on the display.

HANDSFREE CELL PHONE*

* If installed on your vehicle

To disconnect the present system select 

the option  “YES “

A connection code is required is this 

step to establish new connection. Insert 

0000 code on your cell phone. The 

Bluetooth connection will be connected 

automatically in this mode.

After making connection between device 

and cell phone, the following message 

will emerge on display.

In case of connection failure, the 

“PAIRING FAIL” message will emerge 

on the display.

The device will automatically return to 

BT Connection menu after 3 minutes. 

Pairing devices:

After entering Paired Device menu, 

select the name of your cell phone 

through the cell phone names in the list 

previously connected to the device.

Move through the cell phone name by 

turning  knob  No.  13  to  find  your  cell 

phone name and after finding the name 

of  your  cell  phone,  briefly  press  knob 

No. 13 to select it.

During connection, if the device is 

connected to another cell phone, the 

following message will emerge on 

display.

*In case of selecting MISSED CALL and 

ANSWERED CALL item, do as above.

If you want to dial again the latest 

numbers you called previously, select 

the REDIAL item and press 

 button 

for dialing.

Answering call

In case you have a received call after 

making Bluetooth connection between 

device and cell phone, press 

 button 

(Button No. 4) to answer the call. You 

can press button (Button No. 5) to hang 

out or reject the call.

Transferring the voice of call

For transferring the voice of call from 

device to the cell phone, press PRIVATE 

button (Button No. 10) during call. The 

message “PRIVATE CALL” will emerge 

on the display. In order for transferring 

call voice, again from cell phone to 

device, press the button No. 10 once 

more.

* If installed on your vehicle

Audio Bluetooth

In order to listen the music which is 

currently playing on the cell phone, and 

control the playing with device, press 

SRS button (Button No. 1) repeatedly to 

move through options and select the BT 

AUDIO item.

Press PAUSE button (button No. 9) to 

move through PLAY / PAUSE modes.

Press >> or << buttons (Button No. 14) 

to change the music track.

Voice call

In case of willing to make a call by 

making a voice call, press and hold 

button (Button No. 4) for some moments. 

The message VOICA CALL will emerge 

on the display.

In order to dial a phone number (when 

the name of subject person is available 

on the cell phone contact list) mention 

the call order audibly. Therefore, the 

device will start dialing the number and 

making call with the subject person.

During conversation, the message 

“VOICE CALL” will emerge on the 

display.

After finishing a call, press 

 button 

(Button No. 5) to hang out the call. After 

call hang out, the following message 

will emerge for some moments on the 

display.

Audio control buttons installed on 

steering wheel*
1. 

 button: Briefly press this button 

to mute the audio system. Exit the mute 

mode by pressing this button again.
2. 

 button: In order to increase/

decrease the sound volume.
3. 

 button: To move through 

previous next track on 

CD or USB mode.

B) AUTO search in radio stations (in 

Radio mode)
4. 

 button: In order to enter the 

following menus:

Radio>CD Player>USB>AUX>BT

You can move through the 

FM1, FM2, 

FM3,AM radio bands, when entering the 

radio menu.

 button: Answering a received 

call (in cae of receiving a phone call).

and cell phone.

MAP READING LIGHT TIMER

Map Reading Light Timer

Map reading light control comes on 

by activating intelligent system and 

operates in the following situations:

1-When the vehicle is OFF and one of 

the vehicle’s door (including bonnet door 

and trunk lid) is open, this light turns on 

and while the door is closed, the light 

stays on for 18±12s and then turns off 

progressively.

2- When the vehicle is in theft deterrent 

position, by pressing the On (lock) 

 

button, light stays on for 18±2s; 

otherwise, it will be activated by auto 

lock system and the map reading light 

will turn off automatically.

3- In the case of danger and alarm, the 

map reading light remains on till the end 

of the theft-deterrent alarm position.

4- Should one of the vehicle’s doors 

(including bonnet door and trunk lid) is 

open while driving, the dome light blinks 

to inform it to the driver*

Vehicle tracker*

When the anti-theft system is activated, 

if you push the Lock button on the 

remote  control,  flasher  blinks  for  15 

seconds. This is useful for finding your 

vehicle among other vehicles.

Note:

Activation  of  the  flasher,  means  the 

activation for the period of 400 mili-

seconds .

Escorting of driver in darkness

When you’re leaving the vehicle in a 

garage or parking (similar locations) and 

the place light is so low, you can keep the 

space alight for 30 seconds by activating 

this mechanism through turning on the 

Small and dipped head lamps. 

For this purpose:

- Turn the switch to Stop position (or 

take out the switch)

- Turn off the lights.

- Pull the indicator lever once towards 

yourself.

- Get out of the vehicle and lock the 

vehicle.

- Small and dipped head lamps will get 

turn on, and then will be turned off after 

30 seconds automatically.
