Installation is performed in the 
reverse sequence. When installing 
note the following:

Shift lever cover, 
separating and 
assembling to shift lever 
knob 

-  Turn cover inside out. 

-  Carefully pry clamping sleeve 

(arrow) off with a screwdriver and 
pull shift lever knob out. 

-  Insert shift lever knob in cover. 

-  Push clamping sleeve onto shift 

lever knob and engage. 

-  Install shift lever knob and cover 

together.
