-  Release brake and accelerator pedals.  

  

   If "Sys. OK." appears in display zone 3:  

  

  

-  Press

key. 

  

  

-  Press keys 0 and 6 for function "End output" and 

confirm entry with Q key. 

  

  

-  Switch ignition off. 

  

   If "Syst.n.OK." appears in display zone 3:  

  

  

-  Press 

key. 

  

  

-  Check DTC memory:

   If no DTC is stored in DTC memory:  

  

  

-  Press keys 0 and 6 for function "End output" and

-  Check Camshaft Position (CMP) sensors -G40- 

and -G163- (connections may be interchanged):

-  Check oil pressure

Note:  

The end of the valve stem must be 
flush with the guide. Due to the slight 
difference in stem diameters, ensure 
that only an intake valve is used in 
the intake guide and an exhaust 
valve in the exhaust guide. 

If rock tolerance is exceeded:  

-  Insert a new valve into guide. 

-  Determine rock. 

   Wear limit: 0.8 mm 

-  Replace cylinder head.
