When performing a driving test, select a safe
After repair or replace malfunction part(s), clear all DTCs 1) Connect SUZUKI scan tool to data link connector in the same manner as when making this connection 2) Turn ignition switch to ON position. 3) Erase DTC according to instructions displayed on scan tool. Refer to scan tool operator’s manual for NOTE
4) After completing the clearance, turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect scan tool from data link 5) Perform “Driving Test” (Step 2 of “Electronic Stability Program Check”) and “DTC Check” and confirm that Fail-Safe Table S5JB0B4604053 When any of the following DTC(s) is detected, ESP ® system is in fail-safe mode per its DTC and ABS, EBD and/or TCS / stability functions are deactivated until the resolution is applied.
