CONNECTOR X

1. Low beam indicator
2. Anti starting  indicator
3. Supply(+IC) anti starting indicator
4. Injection failure indicator
5. Oil pressure warning
6. Water temperature indicator

NOTE
In case of the interventions on the instrument panel, check the existence of the

rubber isolating elements on the windscreen lower cross bar, placed behind the
instrument panel.

For the vehicles corresponding to the pollution norm EURO 2000, at the X connector,

position 4 is “ OBD anti-pollution failure indicator”.

The instrument panel is provided with three connectors having the following plugs

correspondence:

1. Instrument panel lighting
2. Ground
3. Rear window defrosting indicator
4. High beam indicator
5. RPM
6. Supply (+DC) after contact
7. Free
8. Ground
9. Right turning indicator

10. Left turning indicator

1. Hazard indicator
2. Water temperature warning
3. Supply (+DC) after contact
4. Ground
5. ICP and handbrake warning
6. Brake pads wear warning
7. Fuel level indicator
8. Fuel level minimum warning
9. Battery charging indicator

DISMOUNTING

Disconnecting battery.
Dismounting flexible shaft( speedometer cable) from the gearbox.
Dismounting control cable from the recycling flap.
Dismounting steering wheel and the steering wheel casing.
Dismounting dashboard lower fairing.
Dismounting documents compartment.
Disconnect documents compartment lamp.
Dismounting central console.
Dismounting flaps control cables from the climate control unit.
Disconnecting: cigarette lighter, climate control lighting, ashtray lighting, climate control switch.
Dismounting headlamps adjustment control from the dashboard.
Dismounting dashboard from the windscreen lower cross bar.
Disconnecting flexible shaft (speedometer cable) from the instrument panel.
Disconnecting air conducting ducts to aerators.
Disconnecting front wiring from the instrument panel and from the dashboard wiring.
Dismounting instrument panel attachment clamps from the dashboard.
Dismounting clamps from the instrument panel.
Mounting clamps on the new instrument panel.
Mounting instrument panel with clamps on dashboard.
Connecting flexible shaft to the instrument panel.
Connecting front wiring to the instrument panel and to the dashboard wiring.
Positioning and fixing air conducting ducts.

Positioning and fixing flaps control cables to the climate control unit.
Connecting dashboard wiring to: cigarette lighter, climate control lighting, climate control switch,

ashtray lighting.

Connecting documents compartment lamp.
Mounting documents compartment.

Mounting dashboard lower fairing.
Mounting steering wheel casing and steering wheel.
Mounting flexible shaft to the gearbox.
Mounting control cable to the recycling flap.
Connecting battery.
Functional tests.

REMOUNTING

Perform the dismounting operations in  the reverse order.
