Hub, fitting

The item numbers indicated in the text refer to the drawing on page .

Apply oil to trumpet housing

 (1) at the level of the bearing contact faces.

Use axle oil.

(See Driving & Servicing handbook)

Fit dust guard

 (2) to the hub.

Fit hub

 (8).

Use tooling

 A + B.

A = 9954

B = 8821

Fit washer

 (7).

Fit nut

 (6).

Tighten to torque.

Use tool 8457.
