Remove/install the retaining pins for this operation.

INSPECTION

NMMT0060

Check the working surfaces of each shift fork and fork rod for
excessive wear, abrasion, bend or any other damage. Also check
the spring for permanent set. When such abnormality is found,
replace the faulty part.
