The fuel filler cap holder has been installed to the fuel
lid, holding the removed cap in refueling to prevent the
fuel cap from being left open.

The  central  door  locking  system  locks/unlocks  all
the  doors  and  liftgate  using  the  driver's  door  key
cylinder,  the  driver’s  side  door  lock  switch  or  the
passenger’s side door lock switch.

｠

The  child  protection  function  prevents  the  rear
doors  from  being  opened  accidentally  during
driving.

｠

The  key-in  prevention  function  has  been
introduced.

｠

The  selector  "P"  position-linked  door  unlocking
function has been introduced.

｠

The direct combination key cylinder mechanism has
been adopted.

DESCRIPTION OF CONSTRUCTION AND

OPERATION

CENTRAL DOOR LOCKING
All  the  doors  (including  liftgate)  can  be  locked/
unlocked, using the door key cylinder on the driver’s
door,  the  driver’s  side  door  lock  switch  or  the
passenger’s side door lock switch.
The function that allows the driver's door to be opened
by pulling the driver's door inside handle even when
the driver's door inside lock knob is in the lock position
is called "override function".

When the driver's door is locked by turning the door
lock key cylinder to the lock side (when the lock switch

turns ON after turning OFF the unlock switch in the
driver's  door  lock  actuator),  ETACS-ECU  turns  ON
the  lock  relay  output  for  0.25  second,  and  locks  all
doors (including the liftgate). When the driver's door
is unlocked by turning the door lock key cylinder to the
unlock side (when the unlock switch turns ON after
turning OFF the lock switch on the driver's door lock
actuator),  ETACS-ECU  turns  ON  the  unlock  relay
output  for  0.25  second,  and  unlocks  all  doors
(including the liftgate).
