Using scan tool MB991958, check data list item 81 81 <bank 1> and 83 <bank 2>, Long-Term Fuel Trim. • The fuel trim should be between −12.5 and +12.5 when the load is 2,500 r/min (during closed loop) after the Q: Is the specification normal? YES : Go to Step 3. − System too Lean (bank 1) , DTC P0172 − System too Rich (bank 1) , DTC P0174 − System too Lean (bank 2) , DTC P0175 − System too Rich (bank 2) STEP 3.
