Check ACC Power

CHECK ACC POWER

 With CONSULT-II

Check ACC power (“ACC ON SW”) in “DATA MONITOR” mode with CONSULT-II.

Without CONSULT-II

Check voltage between BCM connector and ground.

OK or NG

OK

>> ACC power is OK.

NG

>> Check the following.

●

10A fuse [No. 21, located in fuse block (J/B) No. 1]

●

Harness for open or short between BCM and fuse

Check Key Switch

1. 

CHECK KEY SWITCH 

With CONSULT-II

Check key switch “IGN KEY SW” in “DATA MONITOR” mode with
CONSULT-II.

Without CONSULT-II

Check voltage between BCM connector and ground.

OK or NG

OK

>> Key switch is OK.

NG

>> GO TO 2.

2. 

CHECK KEY SWITCH CIRCUIT

1.

Disconnect BCM connecotr and key switch connectors.

2.

Check continuity between BCM connector M4 terminal 69 and key switch connector M64 terminal 4.

3.

Check continuity between BCM connector M4 terminal 69 and
ground.

OK or NG

OK

>> GO TO 3.

NG

>> Repair or replace harness.

Key is inserted in ignition 
key cylinder

Key is removed from igni-

3. 

CHECK KEY SWITCH

Check continuity between key switch terminals 3 and 4.

OK or NG

OK

>> Check the following.

●

10A fuse [No. 32, located in fuse block (J/B) No.2]

●

Harness for open or short between key switch and
fuse

NG

>> Replace key switch.

Check Door Switch

CHECK FRONT DOOR SWITCH

1. 

CHECK FRONT DOOR SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL

 With CONSULT-II

Check front door switch (“DOOR SW-DR” and “DOOR SW-AS”) in “DATA MONITOR” mode with CONSULT-II.

Without CONSULT-II

Check front door switch in “SWITCH MONITOR” mode.Refer to 

BL-82, "SWITCH MONITOR"

 .

OK or NG

OK

>> Front door switch is OK.

NG

>> GO TO 2.

2. 

CHECK FRONT DOOR SWITCH

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect front door switch connector and BCM connector.

3.

Check continuity between front door switch connector B20 (driver side), B220 (passenger side) terminal 1
and BCM connector M4 (passenger side), B4 (driver side) terminal 37, 142.

4.

Check continuity between front door switch connector B20
(driver side), B220 (passenger side) terminal 1and ground.

OK or NG

OK

>> GO TO 3.

NG

>> Repair or replace harness.

3. 

CHECK FRONT DOOR SWITCH

Check continuity between front door switch(driver side),(passenger
side) terminal 1and ground part of front door switch.

OK or NG

OK

>> Check door switch case ground.

NG

>> Replace malfunction front door switch.

Driver side door switch

1 (W/R) – 142 (W/R)

: Continuity should exist.

Passenger side door switch

1 (W/G) – 37 (W/G)

: Continuity should exist.

Each door switch

1 (W/R, W/G) – Ground

: Continuity should not exist.
