1. Install the oil filter adapter (1). 

Tighten: Tighten the oil filter adapter to 55 N.m (40 lb ft).

NOTE:

Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the oil filter.  

3. Refill the engine oil. Refer to Capacities - Approximate Fluid and/or Fluid and Lubricant 

Recommendations in Maintenance and Lubrication.

1. Drain the engine oil.  

2. Remove the oil filter.

3. Remove the oil filter adapter (1).  

4. Remove the oil filter bypass valve (2).
