LINER-QUARTER PANEL

DESCRIPTION

ISOLATORS-BODY

REMOVAL

1. Remove all cab to frame mounting bolts (3) and

rebound cushions (2).

2. Remove the front end sheet metal mounting bolt

(2).

3. Using a floor jack and block of wood under the cab

sill, lift the body to gain access to the isolators.

4. Remove the cab isolators (1 above) and the front

end sheet metal mounting isolator (3).

5. Install new isolators and repeat steps one through

4, for the opposite side.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the isolators (1) rebound cushions (2), and

bolts (3).

2. Install the front end sheet metal mounting isolators

(1 & 3) and install the bolt (2).

3. Tighten the bolts to 81 N·m (60 ft. lbs.).

FENDER

REMOVAL

1. Remove the grille. (Refer to 23 - BODY/EXTERI-

OR/GRILLE - REMOVAL)

2. Remove the headlight assembly. (Refer to 8 -

ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING

HEADLAMP UNIT - REMOVAL)

3. Remove the wheelhouse splash shield. (Refer to

23 - BODY/EXTERIOR/FRONT WHEELHOUSE
SPLASH SHIELD - DESCRIPTION)

4. Remove the cowl grille. (Refer to 23 - BODY/EX-

TERIOR/COWL

GRILLE

AND

SCREEN

-

REMOVAL)

5. When servicing the right side fender, remove the

battery tray (1) and air cleaner bolts (2) from the
front end sheet metal (3).

6. When servicing the left side fender, remove the

power distribution center bolts (1) from the front
end sheet metal (2).

7. Remove the two bolts from the fender behind the

wheel.

8. Remove the bolt from inside the wheel well.

9. Remove the bolts from the headlamp opening.
