1. GENERAL

1.1 GENERAL

TO COMPLY WITH THE WARRANTY 

CONDITIONS AND TO GUARANTEE THE 

SERVICE LIFE OF DAF PRODUCTS, IT IS OF 

UTMOST IMPORTANCE THAT ONLY THE 

SPECIFIED COOLANT, OIL AND 

LUBRICANTS BE USED.

ADDITIVES TO THE LUBRICANTS, FUEL AND 

COOLANTS - OF WHATEVER KIND - MAY 

NOT BE USED EXCEPT IN INSTANCES 

AUTHORISED BY DAF.

ALWAYS FOLLOW THE SAFETY 

INFORMATION SUPPLIED BY DAF OR BY 

THE SUPPLIER.

Ask your lubricant and fuel supplier(s) whether 

the products supplied comply with DAF 

specifications.

DAF is not responsible for damage as a result of:

-

lubricants, fuels, coolant or brake fluid being 

used which do not comply with DAF 

specifications.

-

the specified oil change interval being 

exceeded.

-

oil of a lower grade than specified being 

used.

-

oil of a different viscosity than specified 

being used.
