BRAKE/TRANSMISSION SHIFT INTERLOCK VERIFICATION The following chart describes the normal operation of the Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) sys- ADJUSTMENT (1) Disconnect and isolate, the battery negative cable. (2) Remove the gearshift knob set screw and knob (Fig. 388). (3) Remove the floor console (rear). Refer to Group 23, Body for the proper procedures.
