displayed on ADC2000 diagnostic
instrument within the range of 0mV-
1000mV when the engine is heated up to
the normal working temperature (closed-
loop control)?

Fault is
eliminated

To Step 3

Turn off the ignition switch, disconnect
the oxygen sensor fittings and check if the
sensor wires are securely fastened to the
sensor.

Check if the two wires connected with the
oxygen sensor suffer any of the following:
Open circuit (Ω stage)
Ground fault (Ω stage)
Short circuit with the power source
(voltage stage)

To Step 7

To Step 5

Cool down the engine and the sensor to
about 20℃ and measure if the resistance
between Terminals A and B is higher than

ECM 49, 60, 61 and 70 suffer any of the
following:
Open circuit (Ω stage)
Ground fault (Ω stage)
Short circuit with the power source
(voltage stage)

Confirm
