License Plate Trim

Removal

CAUTION: Put on gloves to protect your hands.

NOTE: Take care not to scratch the trunk lid.

1. '01 model: Remove the trunk lid trim cover.

2. Remove the trunk lid trim.

3. Remove the nuts and clip, detach the other clip, then

remove the license plate trim.

NOTE: Take care not to drop the nuts inside the trunk
lid.

Nut locations, 4

5 x 0.8 mm

1.8 N-m (0.18 kgf-m,
1.3 Ibf-ft)

4. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

NOTE: If necessary, replace any damaged clips.

Remove the screws, and pull off the side window
molding by hand.

CAUTION: When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap
it with protective tape to prevent damage, and use pro-
tective tape on the body.

NOTE: Take care not to scratch the body.
