The running gear is based on the Exige S, and shares that car's basic chassis and supercharged powertrain componentry, but uses a new chargecooler arrangement and peripheral systems. Unique engine programming is used in conjunction with 4 high flow fuel injectors as used on Exige Cup cars. The open top lightweight body is designed to be amenable to economic accident repair and is supplemented by an FIA compliant roll over bar, and strut mounted rear aerofoil acting directly onto the rear subframe. Options include a race specifica- tion carbon fibre adjustable rear aerofoil combined with an enlarged front splitter for enhanced aerodynamic balanced downforce, and Ohlins fully adjustable spring/damper units with remote reservoirs. This supplement describes the unique features of the 2-Eleven, and refers to other models where com- ponentry is shared. 2-11 fq road black |
