2. Insert a screwdriver through the openings in the rear spoiler from below, press the locking mechanism -B-

for the auxiliary brake light together -A- and carefully pull out the brake light.

3. Repeat the procedure on the other side if necessary.

4. Release the electric plug connection -C- and disconnect it from the brake light.

1. Open the convertible top compartment lid fully.

Release retaining clips with special tool

2. Pass the disassembly tool disassembly aid 9707 through the openings in the convertible-top

compartment lid and guide the disassembly tool onto the retaining clips of the auxiliary stop light
with the finger.

3. Unclip the retaining clips in turn -1 -

Moving the stop light

4. Carefully pull out the auxiliary stop light in the area of the outer retaining clips and slowly push to the left.

5. The auxiliary stop light then disengages on the right side of the convertible-top compartment lid

and you can now remove it easily to the right.

6. Release electric plug connection -A- and pull it off the auxiliary stop light.

Installing auxiliary brake light

1. Plug electric plug connection -A- into the auxiliary brake light until the connector is felt to engage.

2. Insert brake light into the centre of the opening in the rear spoiler and press into place -C-

.

3. Check that the brake light is fitted securely in the rear spoiler by pulling it gently -B-

.

1. Connect the electric plug connection to the auxiliary brake light until it clicks into place.

2. Position the auxiliary stop light on the convertible-top compartment lid and carefully clip it in,

from the centre outwards.

3. Check auxiliary stop light is secure and in working order.

4. Close the convertible-top compartment lid.

→ Vergleichen Sie deshalb nach dem Druckvorgang unbedingt die Ausdrucke mit der
Bildschirmdarstellung. Korrigieren Sie die Ausdrucke im Fehlerfall so, daß der Inhalt der
Bildschirmdarstellung zutreffend wiedergegeben wird.

Danger of losing text-figure correspondence when printing out.

For technical reasons, it can currently not be ruled out that the correspondence
between text and associated figure can be lost when it is printed out, even though
the display on the screen is correct.

If the fault is not noticed, there is the danger that work will not be performed
correctly which can cause injury and damage.

• 

→ Therefore, always compare printouts with the screen display after printing them out. Correct
the printouts if they are faulty so that the content of the screen display matches that on the
printouts.
