Inspection Between TCM and Data Link Connector Circuit

1. 

CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.

3.

Disconnect ECM connector and harness connector M82.

4.

Check continuity between harness connector and data link con-
nector.

OK or NG

OK

>> Connect all the connectors and diagnose again. Refer to

LAN-5, "TROUBLE DIAGNOSES WORK FLOW"

 .

NG

>> Repair harness.

Inspection Between Data Link Connector and Driver Seat Control Unit Circuit

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Check continuity between harness connectors.

OK or NG

>> Connect all the connectors and diagnose again. Refer to

LAN-5, "TROUBLE DIAGNOSES WORK FLOW"

 .

>> Repair harness.

Disconnect AWD control unit connector.

2.

Check continuity between harness connector and AWD control
unit harness connector.

OK or NG

>> Connect all the connectors and diagnose again. Refer to

Disconnect ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector.

2.

Check continuity between harness connector and ABS actuator
and electric unit (control unit) harness connector.

>> Connect all the connectors and diagnose again. Refer to

Turn ignition switch OFF.

Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.

3.

Check following terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose connection (connector side and
harness side).

>> GO TO 2.

NG

>> Repair terminal or connector.

2. 

CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT

1.

Disconnect harness connector B2 and harness connector B4.

2.

Check continuity between harness connectors.

OK or NG

>> GO TO 3.

>> Repair harness.

3. 

CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT

1.

Disconnect AWD control unit connector.

2.

Check continuity between harness connector and AWD control
unit harness connector.

>> Connect all the connectors and diagnose again. Refer to

CHECK CONNECTOR

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.

3.

Check following terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose connection (connector side and
harness side).

OK or NG

OK

>> GO TO 2.

NG

>> Repair terminal or connector.

2. 

CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT

1.

Disconnect harness connector B2 and harness connector B4.

2.

Check continuity between harness connectors.

OK or NG

OK

>> GO TO 3.

NG

>> Repair harness.

3. 

CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT

1.

Disconnect ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector.

2.

Check continuity between harness connector and ABS actuator
and electric unit (control unit) harness connector.

OK or NG

>> Connect all the connectors and diagnose again. Refer to

LAN-5, "TROUBLE DIAGNOSES WORK FLOW"

 .

Inspection Between AWD Control Unit and ABS Actuator and Electric Unit (Con-
trol Unit) Circuit

1. 

CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.

3.

Disconnect following connectors.

ECM connector

AWD control unit connector

ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector

4.

Check continuity between AWD control unit harness connector
and ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) harness con-
nector.

OK or NG

OK

>> Connect all the connectors and diagnose again. Refer to

LAN-5, "TROUBLE DIAGNOSES WORK FLOW"

 .

NG

>> Repair harness.

ECM Circuit Inspection

1. 

CHECK CONNECTOR

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.

3.

Check terminals and connector of ECM for damage, bend and loose connection (control module side and
harness side).

OK or NG

OK

>> GO TO 2.

NG

>> Repair terminal or connector.

2. 

CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT

1.

Disconnect ECM connector.

2.

Check resistance between ECM harness connector terminals.

>> Replace ECM.

CHECK CONNECTOR

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.

3.

Check terminals and connector of Intelligent Key unit for damage, bend and loose connection (unit side
and harness side).

OK or NG

OK

>> GO TO 2.

NG

>> Repair terminal or connector.

2. 

CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT

1.

Disconnect Intelligent Key unit connector.

2.

Check resistance between Intelligent Key unit harness connec-
tor terminals.

OK or NG

OK

>> Replace Intelligent Key unit.

NG

>> Repair harness between Intelligent Key unit and BCM.

TCM Circuit Inspection

Turn ignition switch OFF.

Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.

3.

Check following terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose connection (control module side

CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT

1.

Disconnect BCM connector.

2.

Check resistance between BCM harness connector terminals.

>> Replace BCM. Refer to

meter and A/C amp.

Unified Meter and A/C Amp. Circuit Inspection

Check terminals and connector of unified meter and A/C amp. for damage, bend and loose connection

1.

Disconnect unified meter and A/C amp. connector.

2.

Check resistance between unified meter and A/C amp. harness
connector terminals.

>> Replace unified meter and A/C amp.

>> Repair harness between unified meter and A/C amp.
