1.

Connect display control unit and display connectors.

2.

Turn ignition switch ON.

3.

Display “Color bar” by “CONFIRMATION/ADJUSTMENT” mode.

4.

Check the malfunctioning circuit according to the symptoms.

When the screen looks bluish.
Check voltage waveform between display control unit harness
connector M43 terminals 50 (G/Y) and 47 with CONSULT-ll or
oscilloscope.

When the screen looks reddish.
Check voltage waveform between display control unit harness
connector M43 terminals 52 (G/R) and 47 with CONSULT-ll or
oscilloscope.

When the screen looks yellowish.
Check voltage waveform between display control unit harness
connector M43 terminals 54 (G/O) and 47 with CONSULT-ll or
oscilloscope.

Check continuity between display control unit harness connector
M43 terminals 28 (L/G), 30 (L/R) and A/C and AV switch har-
ness connector M48 terminals 6 (L/G), 8 (L/R).

4.

Check continuity between display control unit harness connector
M43 terminals 28 (L/G), 30 (L/R) and ground.

OK or NG

phone) is located near the GPS antenna. Check if the vehicle is shielded by a building.
