INTAKE DOOR MOTOR : Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1.

Remove ECM and power steering control unit with bracket attached. Refer to 

HA-57, "BLOWER UNIT :

Removal and Installation"

 (VQ35HR) or 

HA-114, "BLOWER UNIT : Removal and Installation"

 (VK50VE).

2.

Remove mounting screws (A), and then remove intake door
motor (1) from blower unit.

3.

Disconnect intake door motor connector.

INSTALLATION

Installation is basically the reverse order of removal.

REMOVAL

1.

Remove instrument lower panel LH. Refer to 

HA-57, "Exploded View"

.

2.

Remove mounting screw (A), and then remove ionizer harness
bracket (1) from heater & cooling unit assembly.

3.

Remove mounting screws (B), and then remove ionizer (2).

CAUTION:

Never touch the surface (ceramic part) of ionizer. It is the
discharge electrode.

INSTALLATION

installation is basically the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

If there is dirt, use a clean cloth and clean the discharge electrode (ceramic part) of ionizer.
