5. Install the center vent in the reverse order of removal.  

DASHBOARD SIDE VENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

NOTE:

Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove these items: 

a. Driver's outer dashboard trim (see DRIVER'S OUTER DASHBOARD TRIM 

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )  

b. Switch trim (see STEERING HANGER BEAM REPLACEMENT )  

2. Push on the lower clips (A) by hand to release them. Then gently press up on the driver's side vent (B) 

from the bottom to release the outer side clips (C). While gently pressing up on the driver's side vent, pry 
the driver's side vent towards the door opening to release the tabs (D).

3. Reinstall the tab portions of the vent first, then push the clip portions into place securely.

1. Remove these items: 

a. Glove box (see GLOVE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )  

b. Passenger's dashboard trim (see PASSENGER'S DASHBOARD TRIM 

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )  

2. Push on the lower clips (A) by hand to release them. Then gently press up on the passenger's side vent (B) 

from the bottom to release the outer side clips (C). While gently pressing up on the passenger's side vent, 
pry the passenger's side vent towards the door opening to release the tabs (D).
