4. From the inside of the dash, gently push out on the front of the dashboard side cover (A) to release the 

hooks (B), to remove the cover.

5. Remove the screw, then remove the glove box damper (A).

6. Install the glove box in the reverse order of removal.

GLOVE BOX LOCK CYLINDER REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the glove box (see GLOVE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).  

2. Insert a hooked-shaped tool in under the knob (A) while pulling it, and pull the top of the retainer (B) up.

NOTE:

Take care not to scratch the glove box.

NOTE:

Do not remove the retainer entirely. Leave the other side of it in the 
original position when removing and installing the lock cylinder.
