10. If necessary, remove the door glass inner weatherstrip (A) from the door panel (B) by pulling it down.

11. If necessary, remove the inner handle (A). 

a. Carefully peel the edge of the insulator (B) from the back of the door panel as needed.  

b. Remove the screws (C), then remove the door panel trim (D).  

c. Remove the screws (E) from the front of the door panel, then remove the inner handle.

12. Install the door panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items: 

z

Replace any damaged clips.  

z

Make sure the connectors are plugged in properly, and the cable and the bulb socket are connected 
properly.  

z

Make sure the window and power door lock operate properly.  

FRONT DOOR OUTER HANDLE REPLACEMENT 

1. Remove these items:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

a. Door panel (see FRONT DOOR PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )  

b. Plastic cover, as necessary (see COMPONENT LOCATION INDEX )  

2. Raise the glass fully.  

3. Remove the maintenance hole seal (A), then disconnect the outer handle rod (B).

4. Pull the glass run channel (A) away as needed, and remove the bolt, then remove the center lower channel 

by pulling it downward.
