5. Passenger's: Pry out the bottom edge of the grip cover (A) with a flat-tip screwdriver wrapped with 

protective tape to release the hooks (B), then pull out the cover to release the upper hooks (C), and 
remove the cover.

6. Passenger's: Remove the screws from the grip base (D).  

7. Remove the mirror mount cover (see step 2 of POWER MIRROR REPLACEMENT ).

8. Remove the door panel (A) with as little bending as possible to avoid creasing or breaking it. 

a. Start at the bottom edge of the door panel, release the clips that are just above the marks (B) on the 

edge of the panel with a commercially available trim pad remover (C).  

b. Detach the upper clips.  

c. Starting at the rear, pull the door panel upward, then release the lock knob (D).

9. Disconnect the inner handle cable (A), power door lock switch connector (B) on passenger's door,
