Engine Modifi cations To Handle The Increased Power

New precision engine block and cylinder head casting process

Forged steel crankshaft and connecting rods

4-layer metal head gasket

Aluminum alloy dished pistons for heat dissipation and lower compression

Large diameter full fl oating wrist pins

Roller timing chain

Oil jets added to lubricate and cool pistons

Optimized piston skirts and connecting rods due to addition of oil jets

Increased lubricant volume and pressure

Water-cooled engine oil cooler

Intake manifold and valve cover changed to aluminum for better heat and
