Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.

Remove the 2 lower intake manifold bolts.

Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector.

Disconnect the throttle body electrical connector.

Disconnect the fuel purge line.

12.

Disconnect the purge control valve (PCV) electrical
connector.

Disconnect the fuel rail pressure (FRP) sensor electrical connector.

Remove the dipstick.

CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping

fluids.

Disconnect the coolant bleed hose.

Release the PAS fluid reservoir from the bracket and tie
aside.

17.

Remove the A/C line support bracket.

18.

Remove the cooling fan module.

Remove the intake manifold.

20.

Disconnect the 2 intake manifold module connectors.

22. NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component
is removed for access only.

Remove the throttle body.
