3. Remove the retaining nut (2) from the plenum.

3.7L ENGINE

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

2. Remove the retaining bolts (2) from the engine cyl-

inder heads.

3. Remove the retaining nut (2) from the plenum.

INSTALLATION

2.4L ENGINE

1. Install the retaining nut and ground strap to the

plenum.

2. Install the retaining bolt and ground strap to the

engine cylinder head.

3. Connect the battery negative cable.

2.5L ENGINE

1. Install the retaining nut and ground strap to the

plenum.

2. Install the retaining bolt and ground strap to the

engine cylinder head.

3. Connect the battery negative cable.

3.7L ENGINE

1. Install the retaining nut and ground strap to the

plenum.

2. Install the retaining bolts and ground strap to the

engine cylinder heads.

3. Connect the battery negative cable.

RECEIVER-SATELLITE

DESCRIPTION

The satellite receiver is located behind the right rear
quarter trim.

OPERATION

The satellite receiver module receives signals from the roof mounted antenna and processes this information before
it is sent to the radio. The module operates on both battery feed circuits and CAN bus messages. It will operate with
the ignition key in the run or accessory position only.

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

2. Remove the right quarter trim panel (Refer to 23 -

BODY/INTERIOR/QUARTER

TRIM

PANEL

-

REMOVAL).

3. Remove mounting fasteners.
