(5) Remove the O-ring seal from the discharge line fitting and discard. INSTALLATION (1) Lubricate a new O-ring seal with clean refrig- erant oil and install it on the discharge line fitting. (2) Install and tighten the high pressure switch on the discharge line fitting. (3) Plug the wire harness connector into the high pressure switch. (4) Connect the battery negative cable. LIQUID LINE Any kinks or sharp bends in the refrigerant plumb- ing will reduce the capacity of the entire air condi- WARNING: REVIEW THE WARNINGS AND CAU- REMOVAL (1) Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. (2) Recover the refrigerant from the refrigerant system. See Refrigerant Recovery in this group for (3) Unsnap the plastic retainer clips that secure the liquid line to the inner fender shield and the (4) Disengage the liquid line from the plastic retainer clips. (5) Disconnect the liquid line refrigerant line fit- ting from the evaporator inlet tube. Install plugs in, (6) Disconnect the liquid line from the condenser outlet tube refrigerant line fitting. Install plugs in, or (7) Remove the liquid line from the plastic clip that secures it to the right inner fender shield. (8) Remove the liquid line from the vehicle.
