Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK SEAT MEMORY SWITCH INDICATOR

Check seat memory switch indicator.
Refer to 

ADP-120, "Component Function Check"

.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 2.

NO

>> Repair or replace the malfunction parts.

2.

CONFIRM THE OPERATION

Confirm the operation again.

Is the result normal?

YES

>> Check intermittent incident. Refer to 

GI-40, "Intermittent Incident"

.

NO

>> GO TO 1.

fore delivery (initial setting).

Change the settings.

Entry assist function does not op-

Manual operation with power seat switch 
was performed after exit assist function 
execution.

Perform the entry as-

sist function.

Lumbar support does not per-
form memory operation.

The lumbar support system are con-
trolled independently with no link to the 
automatic drive positioner system.

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

CAUTION:

When removing and installing, use shop cloths to protect parts from damage.
1.

Remove driver seat (1). Refer to 

SE-112, "Removal and Installa-

tion"

.

2.

Remove screws (A).

3.

Remove driver seat control unit (2).

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

Be sure to clump the harness to the right place.
NOTE:
After installing the driver seat, perform additional service when replacing control unit. Refer to

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

CAUTION:

When removing and installing, use shop cloths to protect parts from damage.

1.

Remove instrument lower panel LH. Refer to 

IP-14, "Removal

and Installation"

.

2.

Remove screws (A).

3.

Remove automatic drive positioner control unit (1).

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

Be sure to clump the harness to the right place.
NOTE:
After installing the driver seat, perform additional service when replacing control unit. Refer to 

ADP-51, "ADDI-
