A/C system does not come on.

CHECK CIRCUIT CONTINUITY BETWEEN DISPLAY & NAVI CONTROL UNIT AND AUTO AMP.

Check circuit continuity between each terminal on Display & Navigation control unit and on auto amp.

Continuity should exist.

If OK, check harness for short.

1. Repair harness or connector.
2. Go to “OPERATIONAL CHECK”, HA-66.

Confirm that A/C system is in good order.

CHECK MULTI-PLEX COMMUNICATION SIGNAL

Do approx. 3.5 volts exist between Display & NAVI control unit harness terminal Nos. 37, 38 and body ground?

1. Replace auto amp.
2. Go to “OPERATIONAL CHECK”, HA-66.

Confirm that A/C system is in good order.

WARNING:

Avoid breathing A/C refrigerant and lubricant vapor or mist. Exposure may irritate eyes, nose and
throat. Remove HFC-134a (R-134a) from A/C system using certified service equipment meeting require-
ments of SAE J2210 (R-134a recycling equipment) or J2209 (R-134a recovery equipment). If acciden-
tal system discharge occurs, ventilate work area before resuming service. Additional health and safety
information may be obtained from refrigerant and lubricant manufacturers.
