CHECK DOOR SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL.

CONSULT-II

See “DOOR SW” in DATA MONITOR
mode.
When door is open:

When door is closed:

Check all door switches in Switch monitor
(Mode II) mode.
(Refer to On board Diagnosis, EL-299.)

Refer to wiring diagram in EL-420.

Door switch is OK, go to
hood switch check.

CHECK DOOR SWITCH.
1. Disconnect door switch connector.
2. Check continuity between terminals or

switch body ground.

Replace door switch.

Check the following.

door) or door switch ground circuit (Rear
door)

Harness for open or short between door
switch and BCM

When hood is open:

trunk room lamp switch
check.

Check hood switch and hood fitting condi-
tion.

Adjust installation of hood
switch or hood.

CHECK HOOD SWITCH.
1. Disconnect hood switch connector.
2. Check continuity between hood switch

terminals.

Replace hood switch.

Check the following.

TOR mode.
When trunk lid is open:

When trunk lid is closed:

Check trunk room lamp switch in Switch

CHECK TRUNK ROOM LAMP SWITCH.
1. Disconnect trunk room lamp switch

connector.

2. Check continuity between trunk room

lamp switch terminals.

CONSULT-II

See “INDICATOR LAMP” in ACTIVE TEST
mode.
Perform operation shown on display.
Indicator lamp should illuminate.
Note: If CONSULT-II is not available, skip

this procedure and go to the next
procedure.

CHECK INDICATOR LAMP.

Replace indicator lamp.

CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR
INDICATOR LAMP.
1. Disconnect security lamp connector.
2. Check voltage between indicator lamp

terminal

and ground.

Battery voltage should exist.

Refer to wiring diagram in EL-420.
