CHECK INPUT SIGNAL

With CONSULT-II

1. Start engine.
2. Select “TCM INPUT SIGNALS” in “DATA MONITOR” mode for “A/T” with CONSULT-II.
3. Read out the value of “TURBINE REV”. Check the value changes according to engine speed.

NOTE:
“TURBINE REV” in “TCM INPUT SIGNALS” means power train revolution sensor.

The TCM consists of a microcomputer and connectors for signal
input and output and for power supply. The unit controls the A/T.

(ROM) with CONSULT-II is detected when TCM memory (RAM) or
(ROM).

NOTE:
If “DTC Confirmation Procedure” has been previously
conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least
10 seconds before conducting the next test.

WITH CONSULT-II

1)

Turn ignition switch ON and select “DATA MONITOR” mode for
A/T with CONSULT-II.

2)

Start engine.

3)

Run engine for at least 2 seconds at idle speed.
