BR-54 < ON-VEHICLE REPAIR > REAR DISC BRAKE 2. Remove clips from pad pins. 3. Remove pad pins while holding down cross spring, then remove 4. Using pliers, remove brake pads, shims and shim covers from CAUTION: • Never damage the piston boot. INSTALLATION WARNING: Clean any dust from the brake caliper and brake pads with a vacuum dust collector. Never blow with CAUTION: • Never depress the brake pedal while removing the brake pads because the piston may pop out. Apply Copper based brake grease to the mating faces between the brake pads and shims, and install CAUTION: • Always replace the shims together when replacing the brake pad. because brake fluid returns to master cylinder reservoir tank when pressing piston in. 2. Install upper pad pin from the inner side, then install firmly to the outer side through the hole in the top of JPFIA0220ZZ JPFIA0221ZZ JPFIA0222ZZ |
