LOW TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LAMP DOES NOT TURN ON

Description

INFOID:0000000000957914

DESCRIPTION

The low tire pressure warning lamp illuminates for approximately 1 second and then turns OFF when the igni-
tion switch is turned ON. This is to check that no abnormal condition is present in the tire pressure monitoring
system.
The lamp bulb may be burnt out or the tire pressure monitoring system may be malfunctioning if the warning
lamp does not illuminate when the ignition switch is turned ON.

Diagnosis Procedure

INFOID:0000000000957915

1.

CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS

With CONSULT-III

.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 3.

NO

>> Repair or replace damaged parts.

3.

CHECK LOW TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LAMP

1.

Turn ignition switch “OFF”.

2.

Disconnect BCM harness connectors.

3.

Turn ignition switch “ON”. (Do not start engine.)

YES

>> GO TO 4.

NO

>> Check combination meter and repair or replace. Refer to

MWI-35, "Diagnosis Description"

.

4.

CHECK SYMPTOM

Check again.

Is the inspection result normal?
