1. Disconnect hood switch connector.
2. Check continuity between hood switch terminals 1 and 2.

Trunk Room Lamp Switch Check

PRELIMINARY CHECK

1. Turn ignition switch “OFF” and remove key from key cylinder.
2. Close all doors, engine hood and trunk lid.

“SECURITY” indicator lamp should turn off.

3. Open trunk lid.

“SECURITY” indicator lamp should blink every second.

Check voltage between control unit terminal 38 and ground.
