Door Switch Check

PRELIMINARY CHECK

1. Turn ignition switch “OFF” and remove key from key cylinder.
2. Close all doors, engine hood and trunk lid.

“SECURITY” indicator lamp should turn off.

3. Open any passenger door or back door.

“SECURITY” indicator lamp should blink every second.

Door switch is OK. Next, go to “Hood Switch Check”.

CHECK DOOR SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL

Check voltage between control unit terminals 28, 29 or 40 and ground.

CHECK DOOR SWITCH

1. Disconnect door switch connector.
2. Check continuity between door switch terminals.
