4. From both sides, pull out the rear seat mount

covers (A) to detach the clips, then remove the
covers.

5. Remove the head restraint (A). From both sides of

the rear trim panel (B), detach the hooks (C) and
tabs (D), then remove the caps (E).

6. Remove the right rear seat belt buckle and center

seat belt buckle (see page 24-11).

7. Remove the center seat belt lower anchor bolt (see

step 2 on page 24-9) and left rear seat belt buckle
(see page 24-11).

8. Pull out the center seat belt through the gap

between the rear seat-back and rear seat cushion
(see step 3 on page 24-9).

9. Remove the rear seat assembly (A).

–1 Remove the bolts.
–2 Lift the seat assembly up to release the hooks

(B) from the holes (C) on the body, then
remove the seat assembly.

10. Install the seat in the reverse order of removal, and

note these items:

• Before installing the anchor bolt, make sure there

are no twists or kinks in the center seat belt.

• Tighten the seat mounting bolts to the specified

torque in the sequence shown.

• Replace any damaged cover clips.

1. Remove these items:

• Left rear under-seat trim panel
• Right rear under-seat trim panel
• Lower middle rear seat mount cover
• Rear seat mount covers, both sides

2. Remove the upper middle rear seat mount cover

(A).

–1 Fold the right rear seat belt buckle (B) and

center seat belt buckle (C) down, and hold
them.

–2 Detach the clips, and release the hooks (D).

3. Remove the caps from both sides of the rear trim

panel.

4. Remove the center seat belt lower anchor bolt (see

step 2 on page 24-9).

5. Pull out the center seat belt through the gap

between the rear seat-back and rear seat cushion
(see step 3 on page 24-9).

6. Remove the bolts securing the rear seat-back (A).

7. Lift the seat-back (A) up to release the hooks (B)

from the holes (C) on the body, then remove the
seat-back.

8. Install the seat-back in the reverse order of removal,

and note these items:

• Before installing the anchor bolt, make sure there

are no twists or kinks in the center seat belt.

• Replace any damaged cover clips.
• Check for missing or displaced seat collars (D)

between the seat-back hooks (B) and the body (C)
as shown, and replace damaged or missing seat
collars.

1. Pull the seat leg guide cover (A) up to detach the

clips (B, C), then remove it.

2. Remove the bolts, then remove the seat leg guide

(A).

3. Install the leg guide in the reverse order of removal,

and note these items:

• Check if the clips are damaged or stress-

whitened, and if necessary, replace them with
new ones.

• Before reinstalling the leg guide cover, adjust the

seat leg guide (A) position.

• Push the clips into place securely.

NOTE:

• Take care not to tear the seams or damage the seat

covers.

• Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the rear seat-back (see page 20-119).

2. Remove the center head restraint (A). Pinch the

tabs on the ends of the head restraint guides (B),
and remove them from the seat-back.

3. Pull out the top of the armrest board (A), and then

pull it up to release the hooks (B) from the frame
wire (C) and to release the board from the armrest
pivot brackets (D).
