first, then connect the negative cable. Apply multipurpose grease to prevent corrosion.  

34. Check the shift lever and clutch operation.  

35. Check the front wheel alignment (see WHEEL ALIGNMENT ).  

36. Enter the anti-theft code for the audio unit, and set the clock.  

37. Do the power window control unit reset procedure (see RESETTING THE POWER WINDOW 

CONTROL UNIT ).  

38. Test-drive the vehicle.

1. 2WD: Remove the side cover (A) and O-ring (B). 

NOTE:

Place the clutch housing on two pieces of wood thick enough to keep the 
mainshaft from hitting the workbench.
