1. Remove the luggage compartment cover. → 703019 21 Removing and installing luggage

Voltage peaks can damage the audio system.

→ Before unplugging/removing audio components, remove ignition key and switch off

audio system.

Note

If the amplifier is to be replaced, the coding must be read out using the PIWIS tester 9718 before removing
the amplifier.

Unscrew amplifier holder and disengage it.

1. Unscrew fastening screw -1- and fastening nut -2- .

2. Lift up holder and disengage at the body.

Unplugging electric connectors

3. Turn the holder around, release the electric connectors -a- and unplug from the amplifier.

4. Unscrew the four fastening screws -3- and remove amplifier from the holder.
