Removing navigation unit

Pulling out navigation unit with removal tool

1. Push the removal tool 9570/1 -1- into the navigation unit and pull the navigation unit forward.

Unplugging electrical connector

2. Unlock the electric connectors on the navigation unit and pull out the navigation unit.

ATTENTION

Voltage peaks can damage the audio system.

→ Before unplugging/removing audio components, remove ignition key and switch off

audio system.

Note

If the navigation unit has to be replaced, the coding must be read out prior to removal using the PIWIS tester

1. Insert the navigation unit into the retaining frame and plug in the electric plug connections until the

connectors engage securely.

2. Slide the navigation unit further into the retaining bracket until the navigation unit is felt to click into

place.
