Replacing brake fluid Changing brake fluid Cover over brake fluid reservoir 1. Disengage and remove cover over brake fluid reservoir -B- . 2. Fill reservoir up to the edge with new brake fluid. Brakes: changing/bleeding brake fluid 3. Connect a bleeding device to the brake fluid reservoir. Switch on the bleeding device. Bleeding pressure → Changing/bleeding brake fluid: approx. 2.0 bar . 4. Continue changing the brake fluid at the brake callipers. Do so in the following sequence: rear right/rear left/front right/front left. Use a transparent hose and a collecting bottle to check the escaping brake fluid accurately for cleanliness, lack 5. Open every bleeder valve until clear, bubble-free brake fluid emerges and until the corresponding change quantity per brake calliper is reached. Per brake calliper → Changing brake fluid (per 1357 |
